Exterior

The Equinox is a small SUV that has prominent exterior features, like 17-inch Grazen metallic wheels and an upper and lower grille with active aero shutters. Lighting includes LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, and IntelliBeam automatic high beams. The solar-absorbing windows block the sun from penetrating your cabin, while the heated power mirrors keep your view clear at all times.

Interior

The 2025 Equinox has spacious seating that accommodates up to five passengers. The driver’s seat has 6-way manual controls, while the front passenger seat has 4-way manual controls. Both front seats have a heat function that lets you alternate between multiple levels of warmth on the seatbacks and bottoms.

The Equinox comes with an 11-inch driver information center where you can view your speed, mileage, fuel consumption, and engine warnings. Adaptive cruise control maintains a pre-selected distance between your Equinox and the vehicle in front of you, while Remote Start lets you turn your engine on before ever setting foot outside.

Technology

Inside the 2025 Equinox, there’s a comprehensive Infotainment system that includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. With Google Automotive Services, you can access Google Play, Assistant, Maps, and Gmail from inside your cabin. Your new Equinox also offers endless entertainment, with a free 3-month trial subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio.

The new Chevrolet Equinox is Wi-Fi hotspot capable, offering internet access on as many as ten devices. This 5G hotspot works within fifty feet of the SUV, allowing you to surf the web or watch movies and television shows on your favorite streaming services.

Safety

Much like the 2024 model, the new Equinox also comes with Chevy Safety Assist, Teen Driver, Rear Seat Reminder, and StabiliTrak electronic stability control. This model comes with OnStar Basics, an expansive safety package that includes Automatic Crash Response, remote commands, built-in voice assistance, and real-time traffic updates. Additional safety features in the Equinox include Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, and Blind Zone Steering Assist.

Performance

The Chevy Equinox is powered by a 1.5L Turbo engine that’s paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This combination generates 175 horsepower and 203 lb.-ft. of torque.
