Your local Chevy dealer is the place to go for anything vehicle-related. Whether you’re looking to buy a new car, trade your vehicle in, or get regular Chevy service to keep up with your vehicle’s maintenance needs, the dealer is ready and waiting to help.
4 Services Offered by Your Chevy Dealer
1. Annual Chevy Service
Getting annual service for your car is essential. As the name suggests, you get this kind of service every 12 months or every 12,000 miles. During this service, we’ll change your oil, replace multiple filters, check on your battery and lights, and do other essential forms of maintenance to keep your car running in great condition.
We’ll also do some extensive inspections and replace worn-down components. We check on everything from the gearbox to the cooling system to make sure it’s all in working order. We go even more in-depth every other year, as you need what’s called a major service every 24 months.
2. Oil Change
Although we perform an oil change at your annual service appointment, most cars need oil changes more than once a year. It’s typical to need one every 5,000 to 7,500 miles, though this can vary depending on what Chevy model you drive.
Consult your owner’s manual to see how often Chevy recommends getting an oil change for your specific model, then come to us so we can drain the dirty oil and replace it with the best fresh oil for your vehicle.
3. Brake Service
We check on your brakes when you come to us for annual service, but you might need to come to us for brake service in between your regular service appointments. Your brakes may end up needing a repair at any time. The brake pads could wear down, your rotors could become warped, you could end up with a jammed caliper piston, and much more.
Listen out for noises when you brake, watch out for decreased brake performance, take note of any brake pedal vibrations, and stop by any time something unusual happens with your brakes.
4. Tire Replacement
Take out a penny and put it upside down in the tread every few weeks. Once you can fully see Lincoln’s head over the top of the tread, stop by for new tires. You also need to stop by if your tires are cracked, have bulges on the sidewall, or are otherwise damaged.
There are numerous services we provide that you should get regularly, and these are just a few of them. Come by Pioneer Chevrolet in Abingdon, VA for all your maintenance and repair needs.
